Why Greeny

We propose to create awareness among urban children & youth on environment related issues & adoption of best practices. We have created a Brand Icon which is an animated character. “GREENY”- a friendly being, who depicts the ‘do-gooder’ and demonstrates a way to minimise our impact on the environment. We have abused the Earth and its priceless resources for years.

Greeny would talk to people through animation films. These can effectively make GREENY a household name through various communication media. In addition to films, we will also bring to you merchandise with environment friendly messages on eco friendly material.

Greeny's way is entertaining and informative way & will generate awareness about the environment we are living in and the consequences of our current lifestyle. The target audience is our future decision maker and we need to instill a action-based attitude towards the various environment issues. This project is designed in such a way that it can be extrapolated to any city of India.

The primary Target group is children between the age group of 5-15years. The secondary target is the young adults between the agegroup of 16-25years

This project for production of animation films for environment awareness will provide learning opportunities in an entertaining way. It is a resource for teachers and educators of formal and non-formal education. The last 5 years has seen technology favouring the production of animation films at reasonable costs while TV and internet have also made inroads in the most inaccessible areas. Further, the awareness towards environment issues has escalated to the levels of a dire need. This project will facilitate awareness and action for environment and the consequences of our current lifestyle; and is scalable to national and international levels.
